WBUT was established in the year of 2000
and it is the government established university for technical
education. University offers many technical courses in both Under
Graduate and Post Graduate courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Sc, M.Sc, BCA,
MCA, BBA and MBA. Most of the fields of engineering are covered in both
