Maharashtra Public Service Commission has announced a notification
related to MPSC Forest Services Exam 2014 in order to fill up total 282
forest department vacancies and inviting online application on main
portal site at www.mpsc.gov.in so we advise you to get all the necessary
details first then submit your registration. MPSC is the constitutional
body of government which recruits candidates for various posts in

- Assistant Conservator of Forest: 10 Posts
- Forest Guard: 272 Posts
MPSC Forest Service Exam Date 2014 : 27 April 2014 (27/4/2014)
Educational Qualifications:
Candidate should have done Bachelor’s degree with related subject or should have done BE/ B.Tech in Agriculture from any recognized university.
Age Limits:
Should be between 18 to 33 years as on 01/06/2014 and relaxation in upper age limit is as per the government rules.
Pay Scale Salary:
- For Post Number 1: Pay band of Rs. 9300/- to Rs. 34800/- with GP of Rs. 5000/-.
- For Post Number 2: Pay band of Rs. 9300/- to Rs. 34800/- with GP of Rs. 4400/-.
Unreserved candidates have to pay Rs. 265/-, reserved candidates need to pay Rs. 140/- and EXSM candidates are required to pay Rs. 15/-.
Mode Of Selection:
Written exam (Preliminary and Main) will be taken to select best candidates.
